  /* ---- 1. The nav bar stays WHITE ---------------------------------------
     The nav row is the ONLY element on the hub carrying .bg-company-accent
     (verified page-wide: exactly one match), so whitening it cannot leak into
     anything else. Its labels and chevrons carry text-company-accent-text —
     the ON-accent colour, i.e. white — so on a white bar they have to be
     flipped back to the accent itself or they disappear. */

  /* ---- 2. The SELECTED nav item in the brand primary --------------------
     Why this is defensible rather than a one-off override: the platform
     ALREADY marks the active dropdown CHILD with text-company-primary. Only
     the top-level item stayed on the accent, so the two levels of the same nav
     disagreed about what "selected" looks like. This makes them agree.

     How the active item is identified: every top-level nav item wraps its
     label in a border-b-2 div. Inactive items carry
         border-b-transparent  group-hover:border-b-company-accent-text
     and the active one carries
         border-b-company-accent-text          (no group-hover: variant)
     so "has the class, without the group-hover: variant" IS the active state.
     There is no aria-current on this nav, so this is the only hook available.

     The mobile menu uses a different markup pattern and is untouched. */

  /* ---- 3. HOVER in the brand primary ------------------------------------
     Same treatment as selected, so the nav has one hover language instead of
     two. Label, chevron and underline together — the underline utility is a
     group-hover: variant, so it is scoped to :hover here rather than
     recoloured unconditionally, which would leave every item underlined. */
